Australia Monday lotto started in 2006, we have ingested data 16 years’ worth of data from 2006 until now into our data lake to perform this analysis. It is drawn weekly (every Monday) totalling more than 800 drawn so far.
Australia Monday lotto analysis derived from our showcase data lake; Monday lotto consist of 45 possible numbers from 1 to 45. Six correct drawn number required to win division one, these six numbers are not repeated.
These analyses are currently work in progress as we discover more possible patterns and observe how numbers change over time.
As per architecture shared on our previous post titled “Simple Lottery West Data Lake” we implemented this for each lotto type available in Australia, this page is dedicated for Monday Lotto, as the name suggested this Lottery is drawn every Monday.
Our initial analysis is about occurances, we measures current occurences against its yearly average occurences. This measures will show us how consistent the pattern for drawn numbers are.
Followed by yearly analysis, this analysis are cascading analysis where each year the historical statistics will be refined with combination of all previous years to make it more accurates.
